Proof of Authorization
Before opening any business, we confirm that you're allowed to be inside. Have a photo ID ready, along with a lease, business license or other document that ties you to the business — or have the owner or property manager available to confirm by phone. It's the same check you'd want a locksmith to run on anyone trying to open your door.
After the Door Is Open
If your keys were lost or stolen, or someone who left still has a copy, the lockout is a good time to take back control:
- Rekey the lock so the old keys stop working — $69–$119 per lock.
- Replace a worn or damaged lock — installation $99–$249, plus the lock.
- Plan a master key system if you're juggling too many keys for too many doors.
